Solar Heat Exchange Manufacturing sells a full range of products, from complete "plug-and-play"systems
to the many componets of those systems. While we source from around the world, we always give priority to US production.

Here's an overview of the SHEM line:

• Full Systems- SHEM's patented Simple Drainback or Glycol Systems, using either flat plate or heat pipe collectors. Systems are shipped complete, containing all necessary components.
• Tanks- SHEM offers a range of tanks, with single or double coil, including storage or custom tanks. It is important to note that SHEM tanks and heat exchangers ARE very different from our competitors. First, SHEM tanks are constructed of titanium steel and glass lined. This means long life. Second, SHEM's patented heat exchangers are made of spirally augmented copper. The length of our copper heat exchangers is ofter twice that of competitors. For example, our SHEM 80 DB tank features 104 feet of spirally augmented copper. Compare ANY tank on the market...you'll see the SHEM difference.
• Collectors- SHEM carries both flat plate and evacuated tube heat pipe collectors and associated hardware and racking.
• Controllers- SHEM manufactures our own line of controllers. SHEM differential controllers are designed to support a host of features at a price that can't be beat! Please, compare SHEM and Stecca controllers for features and price. You'll see why SHEM always beats the competitors.
• Components- We stock and sell the full range of components required to produce our systems. Whether you need a single controller, tank, or flow meter, or any combination of componets, SHEM is your trusted source.

OUR PHILOSOPHY: Our systems are designed for a 25 year life, and we source our components accordingly. For example, on the left is a SHEM fitting. On the right is a competitor's fitting. You may not see the individual componets in a SHEM system, but rest assured they're the best in class and well suited for the application!
